Delivering with control means empowering the wider project team while maintaining clear oversight of programme, quality and execution. It requires proactive project management, attention to detail and the swift resolution of challenges without compromising the integrity of the client’s vision and our design.
Expert project management
On many of our larger projects, we work alongside dedicated project managers. However, we also regularly undertake this role ourselves, particularly on private residential projects, drawing on our extensive experience of managing complex construction projects.
Our expertise, supported by established systems and processes, enables us to maintain control throughout the construction phase, anticipating challenges, coordinating the wider project team and responding effectively to changing demands.
We use Notion, our collaborative project management platform, to maintain comprehensive task lists, design programmes and information release schedules. By sharing these with the wider project team, we establish clear responsibilities, maintain accountability and ensure that critical information is delivered when required.
Building Information Modelling (BIM) provides another essential layer of control. Through coordinated 3D models, we can identify and resolve potential conflicts before they become costly problems on site, while maintaining consistency and accuracy across the design information as construction progresses.
Together, our experience, proactive management and proven systems enable us to maintain control of programme, quality and coordination, ensuring that the exacting standards of True Prime® are carried through to completion.

While robust systems and meticulous coordination are essential to successful project delivery, we believe that strong personal relationships are equally important.
Throughout our 45-year history, we have consistently found that the most successful projects are delivered by teams built on mutual trust, respect and open communication. When people know and understand one another, they are better equipped to navigate challenges, resolve differences constructively and work collaboratively towards a shared goal: achieving the best possible outcome for the client.
We actively invest in these relationships, including through regular project team social gatherings that bring collaborators together away from the pressures of day-to-day project delivery. Where appropriate, we also seek to bring together consultants and contractors who have demonstrated their ability to work successfully together, while welcoming new collaborators who share our values and commitment to excellence.

Site monitoring and inspection
Our commitment to quality continues throughout construction, with regular site inspections to monitor progress, review workmanship and assess the works against the agreed design intent, specifications and standards.
Using dedicated digital inspection software, we systematically record our observations, identify any discrepancies and allocate responsibility for addressing them. Detailed, clearly referenced reports provide the project team with an accurate record of issues requiring attention, helping to ensure that these are resolved promptly and effectively.
As the project approaches completion, we undertake a comprehensive snagging process, meticulously identifying and documenting any outstanding defects or incomplete works. We then monitor their resolution, helping to ensure that the finished project meets the exacting standards expected by our clients.
