An Evening 45 Years In The Making
We were delighted to welcome over 150 guests to our annual end-of-summer party on 10 September. Guests from across the industry joined us to mark the beginning of the new season and, this year, an important milestone for the firm: our 45th anniversary.

We hosted collaborators, clients and friends from firms including Webster Hart, Martin Kemp Design, Harsbrook, Size Group, and Wedlake Bell. Champagne was sipped, canapés were circulated, and the traditional table football tournament, The LA Cup, was played as fiercely as ever. Congratulations to the winning team: Gary Wait of Egis and Adam Hunter of MDesign!
A timeline of the last 45 years at LA London, formerly Lees Associates, revealed a fascinating evolution of projects and personnel, techniques and technologies. We looked back on major renovations at The Savoy, Selfridges, Harrods, and more recently, the historic Menier Building across the road from our offices.
As well as marking our anniversary, the evening was an opportunity to celebrate True Prime® — a new benchmark for exceptional design, created to reflect our commitment to the very highest standards of design, service and delivery. It captures the level of care, rigour and attention to detail that has defined LA London for 45 years, while setting out the standard we believe the very best homes should achieve.
